About Katerina

Katerina is an Integrative Wellness Practitioner and Certified Hypnotherapist. She began her career with a focus on the physical body, which was a natural extension of her role as professional volleyball athlete. She later transferred the physical knowledge she gained on the volleyball court to assist clients as a fitness coach, in NYC. In working with her clients, many of whom had chronic lifestyle diseases such as depression, obesity and diabetes, she realized that medications or fitness alone were not adequately addressing their health issues and that all psycho emotional states had a corresponding physiology pattern. When her clients felt depressed, they breathed and moved a certain way and used specific language patterns. But when they changed their body language, everything else improved, including their mood. Then, she incorporated imagery training and breath work to her fitness method, teaching athletes how to feel confident and unstoppable prior to a game, using mind and body alone. This dual emphasis on the mind body connection led her to study Hypnotherapy, and other holistic modalities. She is now working closely with a team of excellent health care practitioners, co-creating personalized protocols whereby patients use holistic interventions in coordination with conventional medicine to recover from surgery, manage disease and restore health. Client Services Katerina's clients usually see results with a handful of sessions, which take place at the office or online (Skype or FaceTime). As a Clinical Integrative Hypnotist, certified through the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH) and the Center for Integrative Hypnosis (CIH), Katerina utilizes proven methods in Mind Body Medicine, Neuroscience and Epigenetics, coupled with Classical and Ericksonian Hypnosis, Neuro Linguistic Programming and Emotional Freedom Technique.
