About Kate
Focusing primarily on relationships, sexuality and trauma, often at the intersection of all three, I partner with clients to create a warm and safe space in which to explore patterns that impact growth. I see therapy as a means to heal past hurts, and to improve current/future functioning. My work is informed by Polyvagal & attachment theories; & incorporates a variety of models including narrative, solution focused, EFT, Gottman, Ericksonian, mindfulness and humanistic psychotherapies, among others. I have a special interest in working with survivors of sexual assault & domestic violence. I am trained in EMDR & clinical hypnosis.
