Jacalyn Duncan is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist (CCHt) and the visionary behind Hypno Practique. With a background rooted in Mind-Body Psychology, Jacalyn graduated with Honors from the Nationally Accredited HMI College of Hypnotherapy.During her two-year tenure as a student, she was uniquely recognized with the Director’s, Academic, Clinical Achievement, and AOS Excellence Awards—a testament to her 4.0 GPA and clinical proficiency. Beyond traditional hypnotherapy, Jacalyn is an expert in Mental and Emotional Release® Therapy, NLP, and is an Imagery Master. She combines rigorous academic standards with a collaborative spirit, actively mentoring peers and contributing to the overall growth and integrity of the hypnotherapy field.As a Certified Advanced Handwriting Analyst (CAHA), Jacalyn integrates the study of ideomotor traits into her practice to gain profound insights into the subconscious. This specialized skill allows her to translate a client’s personality, behavior, and tendencies into a detailed psychological snapshot, pinpointing exactly how to tailor her support. Beyond her clinical practice, she provides professional handwriting analysis to corporations and organizations; hypnotherapy clients may also request a comprehensive evaluation as a supplemental service.Jacalyn’s mission is to facilitate lasting relief from emotional, psychological, and physical distress, specializing in high-impact pain management and trauma recovery. Upon completing her graduate studies and a minor in psychology, she intends to pursue her LCSW licensure in Idaho and ultimately earn a PhD. Her long-term vision includes establishing a private practice and returning to Idaho State University as a professor to mentor future clinicians.As an active member of the American Hypnosis Association (AHA), she demonstrates a steadfast commitment to the field through consistent conference attendance and a dedication to lifelong education in Hypnotherapy and Mind-Body Psychology. This “insatiable hunger” for clinical understanding was first evidenced during her two-year tenure as a student at the Hypnosis Motivation Institute (HMI), where she completed extensive coursework while providing unwavering support to her peers.
